Bachelor’s graduate Madison Prewett is engaged to billionaire Kenny Troutt’s son Grant: ‘It’s worth the wait’

Madison Prewett accepted boyfriend Grant Michael Troutt’s proposal on Sunday after an eight-month whirlwind romance.

Less than 24 hours after getting engaged, the single person former student of Alabama shared a slideshow of stunning photos of them kissing on the beach as she showed him her new diamond ring instagram.

In the footage, the 26-year-old son of billionaire Kenny Troutt can be seen kneeling as he asked the reality TV star, also 26, to marry him.

As her man asked the question, she stood in wonder, her hands over her mouth, surrounded by candles arranged in the shape of a large heart on the sand at dusk.

For the beachside photoshoot in Palm Beach, Florida, Prewett, who has spoken of abstaining from sex until marriage, wore a backless white dress and no shoes.

Troutt cut an elegant figure in a light blue suit and hugged his bride-to-be as she lovingly wrapped her arms around his neck.

‘7.31.22. You were worth the wait,’ the TV personality captioned the photos, which got over 380,883 likes in less than three hours and thousands of comments.

Bachelor Nation members, including Becca Tilley, who is dating Hayley Kiyoko, flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages.

‘Congratulations Miss!!!!!!!!’ the host Scrubbing In with Becca Tilley & Tanya Rad, 33, wrote.

“Grant was waiting for me and drove me to the beach, where he had candles, flowers and a Bible with my new name on it,” Prewett told PEOPLE. “And the ring of my dreams!”

She also noted that she “had no idea the proposal was coming” and was told that they were “taking birthday pictures on the beach.”

But, when her best friend led her “into the bathroom” with her mom and sisters and “the dress I wanted to get engaged in.”

That changed when, she said, “When I came downstairs, my best friend walked me into the bathroom where my mom and sisters were with the dress I wanted to get engaged in.”

“At that point, I knew,” she confessed, adding that they wanted a short engagement and were already thinking about a “chic, fancy wedding.”

In May, Grant shared news of their relationship after quietly dating for five months.

‘Uhhh ohhhh. Sooo kinda something I kept on the low low. My darling. Madison, crazy how fast 5 months have passed? You make me smile like no one else. You have an infectious laugh and a joy that is so appealing to the world,” he began. “You love people fiercely. I have never met anyone who walks with such grace and beauty.

He continued, “You seek to honor God with all that you are. You inspire me to be better. I laughed a lot with you and I also cried a lot with you. I’ve had some really awesome highs with you, and I’ve had some really tough times too… you’re my first call through it all. You are by my side. I’m so glad I met you lil Madi rose.

‘Together. My turn or die. I enjoyed every second of this ride,” he concluded. “I could write a book about what I learned from your heart, but I’ll save that for another time. For now, just know, like Drizzy Drake said, ‘I got z’s for those other girls, I’m sleepyyyy.’

At the time, she also shared an article about their relationship, in which she called “the best and craziest adventure”.

‘Lots of ups and downs, but there’s no one else in the world I’d rather live with. It’s been special since the first date: when you forgot to open my car door because we were both so nervous, when we barely touched our quesadillas at dinner because of our deep conversations and of our intentional questions and then ending the night driving around listening to Drake in the car flat out for hours,” she recalled.

Plus, the star called him her then-stepdad, which was her “favorite hello” and her “hardest goodbye.”

‘There is no one else in the world like you. Let us continue to dream, to vibrate, to serve and to love,” she said.

In recent months, they have attended the Kentucky Derby together, a wedding in Aspen, Colorado and various other cities.
