
Ezra Miller break their silence following their recent series of arrests as well as allegations of assault and abuse across the country.
In a statement obtained by USA TODAY on Monday, “The Flash” star, who is non-binary and uses the pronouns they/them, said she was seeking treatment for “complex mental health issues.”
“Having recently gone through a period of intense crisis, I now understand that I have complex mental health issues and have started ongoing treatment,” Miller said. “I want to apologize to anyone who has alarmed and upset me with my past behavior. I am committed to doing the work necessary to get back to a healthy, safe and productive stage in my life.”

In March, Miller was arrested in Hawaii for disorderly conduct and was arrested again in April on suspicion of assault. In June, Miller was accused of grooming an 18-year-old activist by the teenager’s parents.
Most recently, Miller was charged with burglary in Stamford, Vermont, according to a Vermont State Police report released August 8.
According to the police report, Miller was located Aug. 7 and issued a citation after the beleaguered star broke into a residence on May 1 and stole “several bottles of liquor” from the property as owners were not present.
