Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana Barroso, arrived in Georgia on Friday ahead of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s wedding.
In photos obtained exclusively by Page Six, paparazzi caught the couple – who arrived by private jet – at an airfield near Affleck’s estate, where the actor, 50, is about to exchange vows with Lopez, 53.
Damon, 51 – Affleck’s longtime best friend and “Good Will Hunting” collaborator – landed in a baggy khaki, white t-shirt and worthy black button-up shirt.
He accessorized his look with aviator sunglasses and a black baseball cap.
Meanwhile Barroso, 46 - who shares daughters Isabella, 16, Gia, 13 and Stella, 11, with Damon – wore a white jumpsuit, oversized sunglasses and animal print trainers.
It’s no surprise that Damon made the effort to be there for Affleck’s second set of “I dos.” (He was previously married to Jennifer Garner from 2005 to 2018.)
During a 2016 interview with “Entertainment Tonight”, Damon explained that he and Affleck shared an unbreakable bond.
“I’ve known him for 35 years and we grew up together,” he said at the time. “We were both in love with the same thing – acting and making movies. I think we fed off of each other’s obsession for some really formative and important years and it bonded us for life.
Damon and Barroso’s arrival came hours after the Daily Mail reported that Affleck’s mother, Christopher Anne Boldt, was rushed to hospital following a fall from the quay of the southern domain of his famous son.
The outlet obtained photos of Lopez and Affleck in the hospital with her mother.
Before Boldt’s accident, the bride and groom arrived in Georgia to prepare for their nuptials.
The couple were pictured with their children shopping in the savannah before the big day. The ‘Argo’ star’s brother, Casey Affleck, was also seen arriving in town and, of course, stopping at Dunkin’ for a caffeine fix before the weekend festivities.
As Page Six exclusively reported, Lopez and Affleck’s ceremony will officiate by celebrity life coach Jay Shetty.
Lopez – who appeared on Shetty’s “On Purpose” podcast – previously invited him to officiate four weddings as a promotion for his latest film, “Marry Me,” in February.
As preparations are still underway at Affleck’s home on Thursday, Page Six learned that Lopez is expected to walk down the aisle in a custom Ralph Lauren dress.
The A-list pair have already made things official in a surprise wedding in las vegas in July, during which Lopez wore two looks: a simple Alexander McQueen dress whom she has saved “for so many years” and an elaborate lace dress by Zuhair Murad.
