The 49ers officially filed Garoppolo’s contract with the NFL and NFLPA. NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo shared the following details.
- $6.5 million fully guaranteed base salary
- $500,000 total in roster bonuses per game ($29,000 per active game)
- $250,000 for each game where he takes 25% or more of the offensive snaps
- $100,000 more for each of these games won by the team
- $500,000 for a playoff game, he takes 50% or more of the offensive snaps
- $500,000 for 50% or more offensive snaps in the conference championship game
- $500,000 if he wins the conference championship
- $1 million if he takes 50% or more of Super Bowl offensive snaps
- Maximum value of $15.45 million
- No exchange clause
- Non-franchise clause
